8 isn’t enough, at all, and hasn’t been for about a decade. I am one of those creative professionals. Loading in 4k video or large Photoshop documents will tax the hell out of just 8 GB of shared memory.

For application code? Sure. But data is data. Loading audio, video, and image data takes up generally the same amount of memory.

Not really that weird to me. What’s weird the absurdly low 8 GB of shared memory on a computer labeled “Pro”. Utterly ridiculous for anyone running “Pro” software like video, photo, and audio editors. A ceiling of 16 GB? Really?
