That LG CX OLED panel can be had for $50 cheaper as Costco and Best Buy. Costco’s comes with a $100 Hulu gift code and an Allstate/Squaretrade warranty.

You sound like a terrible parent.

“Back in my day!”

You should get your eyes checked then.

Kind of. If you’re slow and you just skim something, your shields take a hit. If your shields or hull are low and do a head on collision or you’ll explode in pretty epic fashion.

I would be playing Star Wars Squadrons with a flight stick, but they built a 20% deadzone in to X,Y axes which makes it unplayable with a HOTAS/flightstick. There’s an easy fix in a config file, but it triggers EAC. Really disappointing. :(

Imagine being this proud of being this ignorant. But then again, I don’t have to because there you are.

International Harvester Model KB-1. Fight me.

*is killing us all.

I don’t know, Bangle had it all figured out 15 years ago.

4K Blu Ray players are anywhere from $200 to $1000 these days. Getting one built in to a very capable next gen entertainment system (remember: this doubles as a Netflix / Hulu / etc. box too, not just a gaming machine) is pretty a good deal at $500. Hell, an Apple TV is almost $200!

Can you define what you mean by “bad writing”? I hear this schtick a lot but most folks don’t really say why they feel that way.

Typically those aren’t good enough. It’s not about limiting just the visible spectrum, but limiting as much UV and infrared as possible too, while still evenly reducing the visible spectrum. It’s all radiation of a kind and you don’t want focus it on your retinas. They won’t grow back.

You make a good point but I wouldn’t go pointing any camera directly at the sun, regardless of viewfinder. Obviously one with an optical TTL and prism is going to nuke your eyes, but with an electronic viewfinder you’re also also pointing that same precision magnifier directly at sensitive electronics. +1 for the Douglas Adams quote!

It should tell you how much money Epic has in the war chest, if they can pick a fight with the 100 ton gorilla that is Apple.

Must’ve blown an apex seal.

I can eek 45MPG out of my ND2 Miata. Of course most of the time it’s closer to to 30 but I’ve never had worse than 28.

This is very good Kinja. I_understood_that_reference.gif

This is why professional productions have script supervisors that monitor continuity problems during filming. Amateurs!
