EFI != Processor. EFI is just the basic boot firmware. As I mentioned, Xeon CPUs are 64-bit. The only problem here is that Apple will not be providing a 64-bit kernel in 10.8, the rest of the system is completely compatible. Apple is making conscious choice to prematurely cut off users of slightly older hardware. This…

This guy approves.

This issue isn't black and white, but it's not entirely gray either.

Ad hominem attacks? Red herrings? You don't have much a leg to stand on, and you know it. I'm not trolling, as you insist. This is genuine concern. I know that Apple can do no wrong in the eyes of many, but having been a long-term fan myself I have many gripes, especially as of late.

I have a very powerful Mac Pro at work. Two dual-core Xeons at 3.2ghz, 10gb of RAM, 3TB of HD space...generally not something one would consider out of date or useless, except for maybe the fact that Apple has decided that it won't be able to run Mountain Lion.

A bit of retraction here: apparently Google suggests and directly supports using the ActiveSync/Exchange services as a way to connect to Gmail on all devices except for Android—but that also explains why Androids tie-in with Exchange is so good.

I seriously should not have to setup my GMail account as an Exchange account just to sync my contacts. I've always had the feeling this was intentional to sway users towards using MobileMe and then iCloud.

The Hamster!!!

Any other options you'd prefer?

For those of you who need headphone monitoring, you're also going to want real mic inputs (XLR, phantom power, etc.): [www.juicedlink.com]

Replied for truth. Spacing looks a little off but this is pretty accurate.

Pretty sure LinkedIn isn't a dating site. I could be wrong, I suppose.

I'm not lawyer, but I'm guessing they weren't arrested in the legal, constitutional sense.

That's what he's saying. Teach it in the context of what actual science is, and show that is isn't science.

#9. Like, for reals yo.

Who've you tried? In my book the wider known brands such as Widmer aren't really any good (some of the Rotator IPAs are nice, but most of their stuff isn't very tasty).

I really don't like stouts* as much anymore, but I can down a Black Butte anytime the occasion calls for something dark. Nice choice for the winner!

Way better than these guys.
