Oh, how I loathed the Devils’ trap* and how I loathe Ottawa’s scheme, but you’ve got to give it due. It worked to take a 9th place team in the East to the second round. The Bruins had NOTHING for this scheme even with guys like Marchand who can dance around anyone while being a ratfucker at the same time.

Not a fan of either team, but I can’t help but think that Oshie’s penalty was just karma for him doing the exact same thing to Bonino in the playoffs last season:

I totally agree. Who eats that bullshit sandwich?

Counterpoint: this is terrible advice.

Perhaps it’s 3-1 lead poisoning.

The Ice Age documentaries showed mammoths playing hockey and hanging out with sabertooth tigers.

Without getting too hyperbolic, I can honestly say without exaggeration that this was one of the NHL playoff series ever played.

Russell Westbrook: “I don’t give a fuck about the line.”

why do we have to do this

Ugh. All of those pretentious University Presidents have PHDs in something. She insists you call her Dr. Livingstone, I presume?

Simpsons did it.

If you are standing in the shoulder it’s the semi’s fault. Case closed.

Apologies! I did not realize ...

This is the bossest thing Ive heard today, & I now love Phil Mc.

“I TOLD YOU The Streak would end! I TOLD YOU the Huskies would not survive Upset City! Ladies and gentlemen it is my PRIVILEGE to introduce the 1 in 111-1, MY CLIENTS, THE MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS!”

In almost every case, one does not have a duty to report a crime. But there is often a duty to report abuse of children, especially by certain government employees.

The primary issue here is duty of care. As president of the university, he ultimately had the duty to ATTEMPT to prevent harm to those on his campus.

Mandatory reporting by certain entities/personages of abuse or neglect is mandatory of regardless if the information comes to you via hearsay; it removes the reporter’s discretion and hands the ball off to the appropriate investigative agency (who can then interview direct witnesses).

School administrators (and others) in PA (and elsewhere) are required (by law) to report child abuse.

Seriously though, good for him.
