I could live without the d-words that start coming from Fry. Generally the show does not remind me of the witty Sci-Fi reference humor it had (perhaps part of what made it cancelled). But last night's episode was hillarious. From the start. I thought they were going to make something of a Slumdog Millionaire, but…

Actually the most underlying part of both the season opener and this episode is the relationship aspect.

@ManchuCandidate: I still get all nighters with UFO/TFTD. I would prefer a mass effect-ish story on x-com instead of a movie. It's like PoTC / Monkey Island thing. One is a great game, the other rip...erm lends story elements for a great movie.

Mr. Sinister would be a great choice. He has the build up, the crazyness and the fiery will.

Actually the best american-to-anime show that could happen (I've thought a lot about it) is Dollhouse. I mean, it already had anime elements (the whole tree ash/snow, the horrible experiments), and it would be great for Japan adaptation
