So now we're going to see Al Qaeda buying up driving Lotus Sevens? I HATE THIS DEVICE!!!!

Yup, s3 with s2 bumpers would be just about perfect.

That's sort of what you get when you convert a race car for road use. I like it for the mix of total unsubtlety with true pedigree. The race ones were the fastest thing in the European Touring Car championship - when they worked.

In Broadspeed flavour, please

I agree with you. but I think the XJ6 SIII is the best of them. It's one of the few (if not the only) car where the rubber-bumper version was better than the original. Pininfarina's rework of the rear roofline, and the shallower grille, give it less apparent bulk, which is enough to outweigh the ugly bumpers to my eye.

They are gorgeous, aren't they. I just unloaded mine. I posted a review on Oppo.

Edmund Hillary's 1955 road trip to the South pole, using Massey Fergusson tractors fitted with tracks over the tyres. The first time anyone had made it by vehicle, and only the third time full stop.

...which raises the question of "if a supplier can sneak in a non-ECN'd change and get away with it for years, who's running IQC and QA?"

I dunno about that. You've got 4 points there:

Holy Shit, I didn't even know Lister did one of these! I thought your first photo was just a road-converted Broadspeed. <edit: thats coz it is a Broadspeed, having followed up on Baskinshark's highlighting of the rego>

Yeah baby!

She had a supercharged Jag for a while too. Was on the market earlier this year.

No, it's a 308. Unique to Holden.

'And a 2.0L V8, which means she won't be overly dramatic'

If we're playing that game, there can be only one winner. Kicked the 'Stang's butt. If it'd been up and running a year or two earlier it would have been a much longer war.

Better than that, it's a BRG MKII, as it should be. What's with this Gordini Blue shit Jag have fallen in love with lately?
