Also a great snapshot of "cutting edge" computer graphics circa 1996.
Eat up Martha.
Bingo. When the twist is designed to affect the characters it doesn't matter as much if the audience guesses it in advance; if the twist is designed for the audience's benefit your story tends to fall apart when the audience gets ahead of you.

Given that Fireball was the drink of choice for 8th graders at every party I went to in high school…maybe?
You give so few flying fucks that you willingly posted it on a public website! Totally unprompted! So blasé!

I'd have to re-read Laura's Secret Diary to get the details right, but my memory of it was that he introduced her to Leo and Jacques after they'd been together awhile. I feel like he's overdoing it a bit with Chad.I mean, he named him Chad, that alone communicates that he's the *worst*. We don't need anything else (Appologies to any Chads out there, it sucks that your name engenders this kind of reaction but it is what it is…)
And Dougie wasn't a full Cooper anyway.
I think this was the biggest problem with the back half of season two: all these directors trying to make David Lynch episodes without understanding how exacctly to go about that.
One weird thought that I've been turning over in my head: This is what Bobbly was probably like before he got mixed up with Laura.
Garland seems like the best dad.
No, he just forgot the safe word
Passing a bottle of vodka around the hot tub…nothing could possibly go wrong!
