I guess I'm all by my lonesome in loving this show. Ah well…
Btw, no matter what most of you all think of the show, you cannot deny, Oliver Platt is fantastic! :)

Hey Todd, I don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet, but I'm seeing some weird parallels between Finn in "Glee" and Nick on "Freaks and Geeks." They're both dating women who are constantly singled out for their high potential, and the source of tension in both relationships is Nick/Finn's future plans. Also,

Budget isn't the problem, it is the mediocre writing and the inability of the creators to see what works in their own show.

Now that you've mentioned "The Room," all I can picture is, "You're tearing me apart, Ryan Murphy!!!…Oh hi, kitty!"

You are correct. Shelby is an awful human being, and I really feel bad for Rachel (not to mention Quinn and Puck).

Remember, it's still an Ohio high school musical. Gay West Side Story would not happen.

Agreed about Shelby. She is really unbelievable. She gives up Rachel for adoption, then once Rachel finds out who she is, she says, "Well, you're a teenager now, soooo…I'm already off the hook! Not your 'real' mom, just the biological one!"
AND THEN!
She adopts a baby and basically says that she is getting the baby to

What's with all the hating on Paul and Oliver Platt? Paul and Cathy compliment each other so well, and Platt's performance elevates the already-strong material. Honestly, I don't know if I will keep watching next season if he is dead. Killing off Paul is, in my opinion, a terrible idea, and I won't really believe he's

His character just disturbs me. For a show that's supposedly all about accepting people and breaking down stereotypes, they sure do enjoy throwing out every Jewish stereotype with Jacob.

Agreed. I actually really loved this episode, but that might also be because I really hated season 2 (aside from Blaine). I actually squealed when Blaine started doing the Carlton dance from "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
Also, it was nice seeing some of the McKinley kids getting some perspective and finding out that they

ROFLs, really? You never got it before now? ;)

You know, I initially thought that it was completely heartless what Paul said to Cathy over the phone, but the more I think about it, the more I understand where he's coming from. I just think he put it the wrong way, not to mention that he had horrible timing expressing this to Cathy. Look, Cathy's cancer might be in

It's a rule now that when Oliver Platt is in a Showtime series, he has to have a coke addiction at some point. Anyone remember lovable asshole Russell from "Huff" and his Best Buy spending spree followed by a drug-induced game of horsey? Priceless. :) I almost felt like them having Paul work at Best Buy in "The Big C"

Uh, no.
Not as strong of an episode as last week or the Thanksgiving episode, but Alan Alda and the cannoli put it over the top for me. (Paul's reaction is priceless.)
