Personal ranking:

Good point! Owning no Roxy Music is crazy.

Ah, I have not read those ones, are they worth reading? I have so far only read Snow Crash, Crypto, Baroque, Anathema, Reamde, and Seveneves.

Nice to meet another NS fan. Cryptonomicon is one of my favourite novels and I have been debating a re-read of The Baroque Cycle (such an investment of time though!)

Enjoy Seveneves! Do you like his other stuff?

Those are some incredible albums right there, good job.

I just watched The Incredible Hulk (Edward Norton edition) because it was the only English thing on TV in the Belgian hotel I am currently in. It was worse than I remember it being, and I only thought it was OK at the time.

Indeed they are all great. Third is on another level though, sounds like it got beamed downfrom another planet.

I have finally remembered to give Louis CK some money so I can watch some Horace and Pete. It is very intense, so I am watching it in 30 minute chunks. I am on the second or third episode and I would say that Alan Alda is stealing the show, but then Jessica Lange, Steve Buscemi and Edie Falco have all had amazing

Yes what ridiculous year for awesome music. And with 3 months left! If it pleases the court, I would also like to add to that list:

I am SO ready for new Danny Brown!!

I also expected this to be awful but.. it's pretty good! Cool thrashy riff and comes in at under 8 minutes!

Agreed, I came on here to say Fargo also. When it came out I was 13 and enjoyed it because of the weird characters, witty dialogue, and woodchipper violence. It just seemed really 'cool' to me then.

I was 7 or 8 when I first started watching The Simpsons with season one (side note: the first episode I saw was The Telltale Head and I was immediately hooked.) Like many of you I have grown up with this show and I have noted my favourite character changing with time:

I finished Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson which was pretty good but felt like it kind of petered out towards the end. It is hard sci fi and absolutely brutal - the message I took away was 'Space will kill you'. 7/10

I've been meaning to read 2666 for years. Good luck!

Wow that fantastic what an achievement! Well done :)

And then of course there's mom, who sounds something like this:
"eat your vegetables"
"take a sweater"
"I don't think that's a good idea!"
"hhhMMM"

Randomly, I was just quoting this exchange with my family the other day. I started the Marge quote and my brother responded by perfectly shouting the "Keep it down…" line which I had completely forgotten about. I was on the floor laughing. Such incredible comic writing.

Upvote for pretty much everything on here. But especially for enjoying the works of both Katy Perry and Pig Destroyer.
