You mean their purpose of not using black actors because we all know Hollywood is a right-wing hate institution? Seriously, what the hell is the devious 'purpose' you are attributing to depicting an all-white army as being all-white?

In order for it to be a valid concern, you'd need an actual instance of whitewashing. Depicting a military that was 99.97% white as being 99.97% white isn't it. This isn't whitewashing. Nothing racist happened here. There's nothing wrong with pointing out the truth.

But this isn't actually a big deal, and it's obvious that it isn't a big deal for many reasons. Your wish (which is usually fulfilled) of getting to call things racist without anybody explaining the facts to you is why you think silly things like "Dunkirk is racist".

You can be mad, or you can read history. The non-white population in GBR was absolutely miniscule during WWII. Even if every single non-white person in the entire nation was in the military, it would still be so few that depicting battles without any would make perfect sense.

You can come up with whatever excuses you want. If your ideology has "And here's why I shouldn't have to engage people who disagree with me" as a premise, it's trash.

People have honest debates regularly that involve getting on stage with an asshole: the two are obviously not exclusive. In fact, I'd wager more honest debates have involved 'walking on stage with an asshole' than not. Did you think about what you just wrote before you wrote it?

That you compare having a debate with somebody who disagrees with you to walking into a death trap confirms a great deal of what I already suspected about folks on your side of these issues.

>BTW, why do gamers like Milo so much? He hated you guys until GamerGate came along and he saw an opportunity to bolster himself and his own shitty Right Wing propaganda site (Breitbart).

Of course, the ACTUAL difference between feminist critique and not liking Ewoks is that feminist critique comes from a supposed position of moral superiority. If feminists were just saying "I prefer movies were women are depicted like this" there would be no controversy and this article wouldn't need to exist. But
