Building on that, I can't help but remember how much (at times unwarranted) grief Oliver gave Laurel about her skills (their personal relationship notwithstanding), and yet, Curtis gets none. Of course, the two are very different characters, and Curtis has abilities that easily serve the team, but — I mean, is it just

"There is no Flash without Iris West".
Geez, show, do ya have to hit us over the head? We get it.
You're still trying to make Iris relevant!

With Iris the only true option for a chemistry match would be Cisco. But ain't gonna happen

Yes. This. Is. What. I've. Been. SAYIN'! (sorry – frustration at said plotted plot). Completely clear early on that Caitlin had a natural place in the series, and that her chemistry with Barry was off the charts. Which the show seemed to realise; thus began this never-ending backtracking we seem to be living in, of

Well, they certainly are pushing Iris and at the expense of Caitlin. Hm. There has to be another way to make Iris relevant on this show that isn't demoting Caitlin time. Not to mention Wells time. Where's out Star Labs Team?!

Also this conversation in front of no less than two ex-girlfriends… who happen to be sisters.

"The Flash’s biggest obstacle has been Barry’s ongoing non-romance with Joe West’s daughter Iris, his childhood best friend and the character that Barry Allen marries in the comics. […] The Flash meanwhile has doggedly kept Candice Patton’s Iris West around, but has given her none of the pluckiness or maturity of the

'Like a girl'?!? So sick of this s***!

Season 3 better rectify the 'lets put Caitlin in the background so as to not display the obvious chemistry between her and Barry'.
The few seconds at a time Caitlin & Barry have had together this season have been more interesting than a whole season of Iris & Barry.

Thank you! Thought I was the only one annoyed by Iris. Sorry, but she really is a non-character. Well, except the one ep she was hanging out with Cisco. If they're gonna do a romance, do the two of them! I'm sorry but I don't care that WestAllen is the comic pairing, it's not working on the show.

Cisco & Iris would actually make a more natural match. No matter how much they separate Caitlin and Barry, and relegate her to the b-storyline, they are still a much more clear match.

This whole Barry/Iris thing wasn't working greatly before and is now starting to feel forced. Whereas any small closeness between Barry and Caitlin is always a joy and filled with so much unexplored potential.

I like that there finally was an explanation of why Season 2 didn't start off in an alternate timeline where Barry's mom is alive. Half a season before it came up. And why wasn't that the first question asked??

All of that action last week and no Kendra/Cisco goodbye? Hm.
Am glad they referenced Harry getting shot at least.

Here just watching Season 2 now and I still don't get why Barry's mother isn't alive and they all now live in an alternate timeline, since Eddie killed himself?

Susanna was Rose the whole time, Jennie Urman confirmed in this interview. So I'm guessing Rose gave someone plastic surgery to look like her (eg. Sistine Chapel) and then posed as Susanna, and possibly had the 'dupe' murdered to frame Mutter/maybe Mutter did it because she believed the decoy was really Rose.

Yup #TeamRafael over here. It was really sweet.

Really agree on the personality thing. Maybe that's why I find it so unreal that Jane chose him.

Completely disagree with the review.
The telenovela stylings are what keeps this show fresh.
Been waiting a mighty long time for a resolution to the Sin Rostro plot!
Also relieved that Susanna is not actually a character.
She was too convenient, not fleshed out enough.

Aaargh, Rafael's unrequited feelings are so painful to watch, it's heartbreaking :(
Just get them back together already!!
