You know what? I'm completely okay with Jack and Ashi's relationship of any sort if it will allow to tell a compelling conclusion to samurai's saga.
Also, it's not like this love subplot just jumped out of nowhere.
Imagine if Adam Sandler made a superhero comedy movie. "Superbobrovy" (a Russian 2016 comedy) is a close representation of that atrocity that I hated.
Speaking of Godzilla's American reboots, Nick, at least Roland Emmerich's Godzilla HAD SOME GODZILLA in it. Sure, it's far from perfect but it's still better than boring human drama with a bit of action in the background.
It's not as entertaining or clever as Doctor Who, some moments and plot holes desperately need to be explained, but I had some decent fun while watching it. 7/10 for me for sure.
Though I am not sure if the series will be able to retain at least the same level in the future.
What if they'd make an episode about Pocket-Sized Rudy realizing the fact that almost no one in the school notices him? Regular-Sized Rudy and, accidentally, Louise might help him find his place.
I feel like it was an original tune rather than a remix or whatever. Loved it, though!
