I was under the impression that the av club was a safe place from shippers.

This. Anyone who thought this storyline was going to amount to anything was seriously deluding themselves.
Well, I'd be lying if I said I particularly cared for this episode. A filler episode for a mid-season premiere? Give me a break.
And Josh, the ratings for Quantico aren't that great. It's a pure toss-up right now.
Anyone who is still watching this show needs to have their heads examined. It's becoming increasing obvious that the people behind this show are just stringing along viewers and they themselves have no idea as to what their endgame is.
Seemingly so.
Barry needs to be careful. Judging by her actions in this episode, Patty definitely has some bunny-boiler capabilities.
Wally looks like he's about 16. Barry looks like he is in his mid to late 20s, immaturity aside.
There are plot holes every week.
I don't think there is anything wrong with them being there in at the beginning. The failures of Iris and Laurel lands on the hands of the writers, no one else. These characters weren't handled with any kind of care.
The writers clearly seem to think so.
Seriously, who cares about her journalism career if it doesn't related to the plot. SNOOZE! They should ship her off to Supergirl for a few episodes.
You must be joking. She's barely on the show.
This was a pretty ho-hum episode upon further reflection.
I don't think the actor is american but I didn't have a problem with his accent.
Oh, okay. Must have missed it.
That's all well and good….until you remember that she's a recurring character and won't be here pass this season. Especially since the actress has already signed on to another show.
You think so re: Barry being like Wally. He's so mopey.
Scenery chewers, indeed. But it works.
Tonight's subplot was still meaningless.
