So um, I have some bad news about Shameek… (maybe you'd better take a seat)…

I was skeptical, but ended up really enjoying it. Probably nostalgia played a part. Loved the sound effects and the beefed-up armaments on the tops of the Autobots; always cool to see the swords used in the fights too. And finally seeing Shockwave in the action, and even transforming (I believe he was pretty much

The avatar you mean? You're possibly thinking of a different episode. It's Fry scarfing down free food in season three's Future Stock. Basically what I look like when given the opportunity!

I completely agree. I've been wracking my brain for any additional insights, but you know what, you've already summed up many of my sentiments nicely. (Now get out of my head already! :)

In the finale, her look (glance) up to bigger Liz while waiting for her to say her trademark line ('It's based off our names') was probably one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time. Some great comedic timing and it was a 'blink and you miss it' kind of thing.

The champ, Kristen, still had money (not a lot, mind you) as it was just the challengers who imploded. So she competed in Final by herself. And before the commercial, Alex joked that he and Kristen would get to know each other better (you know, classic Alex). Jay S. has the Jeopardy recap over on 'What's on

I had read this article earlier today and enjoyed the insights. But yeah, talk about self-destruction of the challengers. Unprecedented perhaps? I also wondered, has there ever been a situation with all 3 in the red before final? More questions to ask an insider… (Jeopardy stats!) And I laughed when Alex did some

Absolutely. Whenever Wil (the actor) veered away from the slapstick and 'hokeyness' it was somewhat jarring. But when he did it well, it could be quite moving. I recall that when Wil took the fall for Carlton's prescription drug abuse… yup, that ending had me choked up I have to admit. (shh!)

Well said - I couldn't agree more on all points. Just caught the episode again when it recently aired on repeats. It's probably in my top 5. As devil's advocate though: Too bad he had to desecrate a grave to find out the truth… (a wee bit dark!) I blame Bender's influence…

Maybe maybe… ok, truthfully my guess would've been a little off, so I did cheat.

I was a mega-fan of so many of the shows already listed here (so no point in re-listing) - but what about SCTV? I may be in the minority on this one. So many weird sketches and oddball parodies - when I watch it nowadays I catch a lot more of the adult jokes that flew over my head back then…

1970? Just a hunch…

In my neck of the woods it's on a music channel (and usually airing repeats during the wee hours of the night). Anyways, as long as they get more Nick Offerman back for the new season, I'm a happy camper.

Recently I've been watching Spurlock's newest series, Inside Man, which I've found interesting but it doesn't seem to be generating a lot of buzz; possibly due to its network (CNN, so little surprise there).

A solid episode. Am I the only one who was in stitches at the end of the service call sketch? I mean, the lead-up was so-so (mostly predictable) but then all of a sudden: holy sh*t! …what just happened!? So morbid, but well done (comically). I also loved how unexpectedly the poor rep. mispronounced her name and
