There is some real life basis to that. A LOT of women in their thirties and forties do want a family. It's simply a biological clock that often affects men too. You can't deny biological, evolutionary impulses regardless of what your social life and career is like.

Manny is so, so, SO much worse. I cannot stand that character

I wouldn't put the blame on Fincher. He has very little involvement with the show aside from directing a couple of episodes. He's credited as an executive producer but actually has little, if any, story development involvement. You can bet that the show would be much more complex and thoughtful if he had a bigger hand

This unfortunately happens way too often in real life as well

Best comment/username synergy i have seen in a while.

Agreed a thousand times on the "evil mastermind" trope. It can be done to excellent effect if the writers are good enough to create a compelling character: look at Walter White or Tony Soprano. But these days, it seems like writers think they can create a fascinating, amorally "badass" anti-hero by making them smug

We always sing the praises of Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys and Noah Emmerich's acting abilities, but let's give a shoutout to Holly Taylor as well. teenage girls on serious prestige dramas is a tricky act to pull off (coughHomelandcough), but she plays Paige with the right combination of intelligence and childlike

I love this show too, and i also love your enthusiasm about how much you love this show. look at all them exclamation marks!

That's pretty much how i saw it too. It seems like the most rational thing to do, and the show has always portrayed Elizabeth as coldly logical and calculating when it comes to the spy stuff. Having a traumatized, emotionally unstable teenager who knows deep, dark truths about the deep-cover spy program wouldn't

it wasn't really obviously done, i thought it was just a veiled brag by Todd haha. it's all good though, that's a good catch now i that i think about it.

That scene was fantastic. Keri Russell was scary as SHIT, son. I love how it escalated, from Elizabeth acting like she was compromised and worried about the supervisor coming in, to basically letting the guy know that she has him in her crosshairs

FXXX is killing it, especially with those Suckstified and The Americunts shows

my guess is a Toyota Corolla or a Volvo

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be true. I would be happy if Lena Dunham disappeared without a trace from TV altogether

I honestly think Scandal is a more entertaining show than HoC, regardless of how campy, over the top and ridiculous it is

Great episode. I love how the show manages to build a sense of the affection and camaraderie the squad members have for each other. Pretty impressive after only 20 episodes.

she was adorable eating her fourth burger!

Roscoe and Jay have easily been some of my favourite tertiary characters in the show. Wood Harris in particular is fantastic. even when he's a complete asshole scumbag, he has a certain charm about him.

So Community is going really heavy on the gimmicks huh? If it were season 1 or 2, i would assume it was a meta commentary on the nature of gimmicky guest stars, but now…meh

i know, she's actually a good actress
