AGree with everything you said, and i will also add that i think the melodrama sometimes works to Arrow's benefit. superheroes are inherently ridiculous. Arrow embraces its roots and isn't afraid to go full operatic. but it also shows respect for its characters and its comic book world, so there's always a good

This episode was an improvement, if only because it had SOME kind of connection to the Marvel universe at large. Still wouldn't call it "good" though.

Thank you! i'll definitely give it a shot

I don't know if it's just me, but most of this season hasn't worked for me…at all. Archer used to be one of my favourite shows back in seasons 1-3. season 4 was a slight decline but it was still great. this season seems very forced and unfunny so far.

this show any good? i've been thinking about giving it a try, but i've heard from some reliable sources that it tries for the "edgy" humour aspect a bit too often at the expense of real wit and humour. for what it's worth, i love South Park so i have a pretty high tolerance for shock value on tv shows.

i'm bitter at how criminally underrated Pusha is, still.

yeah i wish i was Jason Sudeikis for those reasons too

sad to see how mediocre HoC has gotten this season. i enjoyed most of season 1, especially Peter Russo's arc, which really elevated the show above stylish yet immature cynicism for me. but now there is nothing appealing about this show anymore. Frank is not even a character, he's just some vague nebulous force of evil
