That's funny! My take was an excellent suspense novel with brilliant details, that built to a nail-biting conclusion and creepy, melancholy denouement. The writing was some of King's most graceful, and the love story was touching. And the part where the dad came in with a sledgehammer was classic King.

What about 11/22/63? That was a great book. And I hear the Mr. Mercedes trilogy is fantastic.
