Colbert is coal-bear both in and out of character. FYI.

Colbert Report used to have a POV. Oliver's show still has one. That no longer exists in Late Show.
Maybe that's why I still like the show - I watch it in the morning and mostly watch the "skits" and the occasional political/scientific interview. It;s almost as if I still watch The Colbert Report….
Yep. They also don't allow embedding on Facebook with their shares, so unlike Fallon for example, you can't watch the clips without having to leave Facebook (unless you seek out a clip on YouTube and link it yourself without any connection to Colbert's FB). Don't know why they do this (well, it might've changed but…
DIensy is fucking ridiculous though with their marketing. Every Disney show has to have tie-ins. A week before"Zootopia" opened, "The Middle" had a story set in a movie theater, and posters for "Zootopia" were prominently featured. And every Disney show apparently has to have an episode about going to fucking…
It does seem like they'd both be better off switching shows.
The taste of the American public is shit. Let's avoid it.
Yep. Colbert needs Ferguson's style.
I can't figure out if Batiste has an IQ of 80, or if he just pretends to be a moron for laughs. Either way, I get the feeling Colbert likes him, but the "small talk" is terrible.
Yeah, you can tell they've been trying new little things here and there, like him talking to that stage manager and just telling little stories etc. I like it, the monologue felt like a waste of time, it just wasn't Colbert's style.
I'm supportive of her right to say no to obnoxious assholes. I think she was inciting mob behavior against him after that.
She stood up for herself. And then she made a point of going back only to humiliate him.
Is she dying from cancer? Is that why she wears a terrible wig?
"there are great actors and there are movie stars. sometimes someone can be both, but that's rare"
"Baby's Day Out" was no picnic either, so everyone's in this together.
Talk Like A Pirate Day, starring Holly Hunter.
I had to look up what he actually said.
That's her "funny mode" acting.
Maybe. But that sets the asshole bar pretty low IMO.
"her sister (Sarah Chalke) is married to a woman."
