Yeah I've never seen GoT either, and she was just awful in "Genisys". One of the worst acting and casting jobs I've seen in a big-time blockbuster since Jake Llloyd.
Win-win for both, IMO. She was awful and terribly miscast. She looked like a 15-year old playing dress-up.

I feel exactly the opposite. The FF superpowers are awesome to imagine, since they are so specific.
To be fair to the movie, the AV Club ratings mean exactly zero, since way too many people here enjoy giving As and Fs to movies they haven't even seen.
I remember FF as being the soapiest of all the Marvel titles, so I think it would've made for a great part of the MCU.
Agree. It has a slightly misguided tone and the first and second halves don't mesh, but overall it's OK. My main criteria for this type of movie is that it doesn't bore me, and as incompetently put together as this one is, it didn't bore me. The previous FF movies did, especially the second one.
