JJ Abrams is very good at creating images that indicate a compelling story is about to unfold. He's just not as good at having the images TELL a compelling story.

Yeah, the main story of the prequels is fine. It's just that Lucas is a shitty director and screenwriter. I so wish that Lucas involvement wouldn't have been more than "Story by" on those movies.
