The episode was epic but had too many wtf moments.
Why didn't Benjen ride off with Jon….He cant go past the wall but he could have got away.
Why was Jon even in position to fall into the lake…He was first to the Dragon than turned around and decided to keep fighting…Why, i don;t know.

Daenery's has Clarity and purpose…She knows what she is fighting for and what she wants and is not afraid to go after it.

She already burned the Lannister Army so she will become famous on the back of that…I think in this instance ruling by fear was the right move in the long run..
They will know she is not here to play games and that she has perfect control of her dragons.

I thought it was a necessary show of strength and ruthlessness. She could have burned all of the ones who didn't bend the knee the first two times but chose the Tarly's as an example.
