I think Game of Thrones has an underated ability to make characters who are actually safe seem like they are in mortal danger.

At this point the safest characters are the 'warriors' or the ones who can fight..Bronn and Jaime were never in danger but they did a good job of making it feel that way…All these fighters need to be positioned against one enemy. One or two might die by seasons…
