Rose was as surprised as the others when Garnet first appeared, so I don't think she would have been a fusion with another gem herself.

They actually aren't in Union Station anymore, Fantom Comics just moved to Dupont Circle (2010 P St., NW). It's a much bigger space and they have all sorts of fun meetups and events now (Women's night, queer night, a Ms. Marvel book group).

I had no idea there was a comic continuation of the show. I'm assuming it's out of print since volume 1 is $100+ on Amazon, and it doesn't look like it's on Comixology. Is there some other legit way to get it?

I was about 10 when this show came out in the states and it's responsible for me being a big anime fan through high school. So, thanks? The soundtrack CD was one of the first albums I bought, because I was a masculine and popular young man!
