Oh yes, McPhee can sing. I think she hit Don't Forget Me and Cut Print..Moving On right out of the park and sometimes, she can even give a great performance like in Public Relations or The 20th Century Fox Mambo. She was great throughout the whole Bombshell (preview) debut in the season 1 finale.

"If this season ends with a cliffhanger based on whether Karen or Ivy wins the “Best Actress in a Musical” Tony, I am going to set things on fire."

Absolutely agree with the lingering shots on Tom during Hang The Moon.

Hang the Moon. *sigh* Beautifully sung and staged. Plus, it seemed like it was sung live because both of the voices were different than the studio version. My only problem was that there really could've been more build-up to it. That song is about Marilyn and Gladys looking back and wishing that they could've had a

I'll never be clean again after seeing him in that movie. yikes.

I'm going with Let Me Be Your Star and Second Hand White Baby Grand as the real survivors. Never Give All The Heart is lovely but they've rarely used it between the pilot and now.

I asked myself this same question so many times and like you, i think it's the writing and not Jeremy being one-note. So much of the things out his mouth reek of "self-absorbed bitch".

Ivy belting out Let Me Be Your Star made everything right in the world for just one moment.

I think so too. Hers was a richer color and the black gloves really worked. Plus, Julianna can pull off alot of things.

and oh, if anyone like me has been racking their brain as to where they've seen Alicia's gown before, this is it. I KNEW it was familiar.

I hate how this show is turning me into a shipper for Alicia and Will. They've been apart for so long that it doesn't even seem feasible for them to even try and get back together and then have to be torn apart over and over again….

Hmm. I thought this was the best episode of the season so far.

Haha, thanks!

This was actually a pretty decent episode. Hopefully it's part of a streak that lasts until the end.

I'm very happy this version exists.

That was kind of my favorite part of the episode. When they announce that Karen was going to have to sing "Moving The Line", i said "oh honey, no", started to giggle and wonder how she was going to "oooh" her way through that song. When they cut it (twice), i had a good laugh.

"Our Little Secret" is actually a decent song when you listen to it in full but sounds awful in the way they presented it last night. In the song, both of them sing (Marilyn to a lesser extent, but still) and it comes across much less rapey and forceful. Last night, Marilyn was just like "hey, i just met you and this

Plus the show is taking another two weeks off.

Betty White's 2nd annual 90th birthday party.

I just saw and it hurts. Expected with the long hiatus, non-lead in and the fact that it was never decent in the ratings to begin with. Still hurts though.
