Listen, much like Alaska, it is fair to say Adore was a huge talent and used her platform really well after the show. However, saying Adore deserved or was in any position to win over Bianca is just insanity.

I have to disagree. A death drop is a dance move and a part of lip syncing. Pulling your hat off and having rose petals below is a stunt. Thats not to say Sasha's actual lip sync wasn't interesting and different. Its just she set herself apart with stunts.
My point is not that they are academic minded. My point is that Sasha walked in with a chip on her shoulder and constantly no drove the narrative that she is so unique and different. She acted as if the competition couldn't handle weird and different. In reality Ru has always rewarded that. The difference is Sasha…
As much as I loved the format and thought it was A LOT of fun, I do think you're right. Shea won that crown. It makes me feel bad for her in a way. Sasha did great but honestly it was only great in that it was "new" and different. I think had others had the opportunity to come up with some kind of unique lip sync…
Weird I completely disagree that Sasha had star power. I think she is a serviceable queen who does not realise drag has been "changing" and unique and weird and academic minded queens have been doing well on this show for years.
I can't say Im happy with the outcome as I could not STAND Sasha's holier than thou "Im so different" schtick the entire season. However I will admit she did bring a unique lip sync style to the table and it did work.
I will admit I always disliked Sasha so I am bias. I just found it to be gross the way she spoke down to the queens here and on the show was "one of the girls". Its like she went home and suddenly realised again that she is intellectually and academically above all of them. The reality is "uniqueness" and being…
Yup. I remember all of it. I get why people dislike her but lets actually go through her time on the show and ask why? People hate her now for 1. saying she wants to be a star and she believes she's a star, which is what Ru talks about CONSTANTLY in her podcast as the most important part of becoming one. and 2.…
When she chimed in it was SO pretentious. It just dripped with ego. She spoke from a place on high rather than as one of the group. It was kind of gross. She spent all season being a sister and then the reunion she was suddenly above them all.
Yep I actually felt the same way. I was feeling like girl you've been acting real sisterly on social media to suddenly have SO much reason to call out every single girl. Honestly when someone is such a front runner I expect them to be more judicious by the end. Even Phi Phi was at her reunion—not that I would EVER…
Lol my whole identity? I watch the tv show and then go home. Maybe it doesn't have to be your whole identity to endlessly comment here about a contestant on a reality show you hate? Its really cute that you couldn't at all comment on the actual depth I made in my defence. You don't have to like her honey, but…
Oh Im not at all saying she's not selling something. She is 100% selling it and all the better for it. I don't think I said anywhere she wasn't selling a character. They all are. But the idea that she somehow was wrong for WANTING to be a star kind of misses the point of this entire show and also Ru's personal…
Oh honey I can add in whatever I like. I don't need to stay specific. You called her vapid. You said there was no there there. I explained to you the there that is there to her fans and why. I explained in a very specific and very profound way. So you can walk on back with that. You cannot go back and say you…
We just disagree here. I don't think someone is speaking in your name just because they are your fan. If she had said anything that encouraged her fans to hate on these other queens then yes, they are literally speaking in her name by expounding on beliefs she expressed. She had expressed nothing but love to her…
I actually hated that about Shea. Its kind of annoying that she suddenly found it so easy to criticise everyone in such a viscous way. Which one is the real Shea?
Yeah I completely agree. Wow it really opened up the floor. The reunion part of the finales have been ruined by the 20 second edit each queen gets. This was a true sharing. However I have to roll my eyes at these queens a bit. Y'all spent an entire season putting a nicey nicey face and now suddenly you know how…
Again, thousand and thousands of fans think differently. Thousand and thousands of latino—specifically Chicano—fans feel very differently. Its incredibly offensive to hear someone say there is no there there when someone is specifically, for once, speaking to our culture and our place in the LGBT and drag world. I…
I get what you're saying but I think its ridiculous. ALL of them have fans who say nasty things. Scroll through ANY picture of any of them on any platform and you'll see their fans throwing massive negative nasty shade at other queens. But Valentina is the one who gets called a monster for it. Someone saying…
They took that opportunity. I have to admit I am pretty grossed out by the idea that because somebody expresses their desire to be a star and make it ON A REALITY SHOW COMPETITION makes them a monster. Listen to ANY episode of Rupaul's podcast and thats all she talks about—knowing you are a star and doing whatever…
Girl that is ridiculous. If someone has 500,000 following them and commenting on their social media account they are CERTAINLY not responsible for it. That is ridiculous.
