That's why I drink.
That's why I drink.
I don't live in the Southwest either; but once a large enough group of people from Mexico or of Mexican descent move into an area, you generally begin to see store catering to their tastes or specialty stores pop up.
Not saying that HBO would have gone for it, but that's the kind of place it needed to be. Besides, if someone would have told you 10 years ago that HBO's biggest series would be an adaptation of a fantasy series of novels with dragons and reanimated dead, would you have thought it possible?
It'll just be blue CGI light.
i.e. Charlie Hunnam.
I really hate the idea that we have to remake animated films into live action. Yes, Disney, I'm looking at you.
A-Aron.
This. As big of assholes as Hollywood execs are, the main thing to remember is that they're GREEDY assholes.
I think it was the best we could have gotten for a film adaptation. It should have been a long form TV series on HBO or now Netflix. The original material was serialized, so why not the adaptation. I think Snyder was too intent on recapturing some of the visuals rather than the concept.
HEY! MAYBE ONE OF YOU ASSHOLES WOULD BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY SHOOT THE OTHER ONE IF YOU STOPPED YELLING OUT HIS NAME BEFORE YOU PULL THE TRIGGER! DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND HOW GUNS WORK?!
Exactly. Remember that in BB his off shore account was in Kaylee's name.
I'm waiting for a Wonder Years-esque prequel involving an adolescent Tuco with intense narration by Raymond Cruz.
I think Jimmy might be playing her too. Jimmy still loves Chuck and wants to make sure that he's taken care of. When Mike posed as the repairman to take pictures, Jimmy wanted to make sure that Mike fixed the door and did a good job. If Rebecca thinks that Jimmy will still be there to take care of Chuck, she'll…
Yeah, finding out that Howard was a decent guy and that Chuck was the insufferable asshole was a great reveal.
What kind of place is this?! First, no bamboo umbrellas for the wine and now snails on the food!
By season 4's end, you'll realize that Art Mullen should have been the central character.
Chuck's name seems to be a big draw. He's well respected and his 'disease' was kept hush hush until he couldn't hide it any longer. He still has a sharp legal mind that Howard has yet to display of himself.
Slips on a banana peel.
See if your store has Mexican Coke. They still use sugar cane down there.
Showed a friend and his wife that episode one night thinking that they'd love it as much as I do. Turns out that she's a big Jesus Christ Superstar fan and did not enjoy it being used in satire.
