People seem to forget that Aykroyd, Ramis, Murray, and even Reitman had history of working together for at least a decade by that point. They knew how to work well with one another, and that translated on film.

Why should he start now?

There were so many possibilities within the script itself that they just kinda let sit there and die. What was up with Wiig and McCarthy's characters split? How the hell did all of that new equipment work. The original didn't explain it, but it was clear from the FX that packs shot out beams that essentially lassoed

The world has become a much more dangerous place with both Russell Crowe and cellular phones in it.

His looks really do convey character well. His goofy-ass grin in Twins was fantastic. He also learned how to best utilize his vocal talents by becoming the best one liner actor since Sean Connery.

Your list might need some updating.

And Total Recall. And Commando. And Raw Deal. And Red Heat. And Predator.

I think expectations killed it. It wasn't a great movie by any means, but it was still enjoyable. Prequels tend to have a harder time of it as well.

Which particular movie are you criticizing for this? Cuz there's a long list that ticks those boxes.

In a later episode there is a fight scene in some scaffolding that is just too damn dull. I can't help but think that if they'd had someone like Sammo Hung, it wouldn't be a problem. There's so little effort and imagination put into the fights that it's criminal. The realistic fights work for Daredevil, but Iron Fist

I hear you. I grew up with hunters and around guns my whole life. A lot of the over the top gun nuts I know my own age didn't. They're morons who latched onto libertarianism and love their second amendment. What's funny is that two of them had their guns go off when they weren't expecting it and act like that's common.

Sandler's man-boy persona is okay for a 20 something. By the time he hit his late 30's, it went from funny to sad. But that's also around the time that his films stopped being about 'lovable losers' into 'look how cool this guy I'm playing and therefore I am' territory.

Snoop is no Jodie Foster.

But that's just due to the shock collar.

I remember those now. The magnetized one had him getting stuck in a lip lock with the school nerd girl with braces.

I also remember one where a kid switched bodies with his aging grandpa for a day, the old guy whose remote brought TV to life (full of cameos like Lou Ferigno as the Hulk and KITT from Knight Rider), the Family Dog animated episode, and one where a teenager was obsessed with movies and daydreaming. He winds up going

I had a boss who was diagnosed with it about 12 years ago. You're absolutely correct about how quickly it can progress. He looked like everything was okay when he first announced it (about three or four month after his doctor diagnosed him). In a few months he couldn't walk on his own. A couple of months after that he

The season arcs are just constructed incorrectly. There's way too much padding because they draw stuff out longer than it needs to go.

I think it's just what happens when you give some friends a bunch of money to make a movie. It seemed like it was more about the experience for Russell and Carpenter than it was about filmmaking.

He was also in one called Drive with Kadeem Hardison and Brittany Murphy that's just too damn fun.
