My favorite Skoda moment was when he was interviewing the mafia boss pretending to have dementia. Skoda irks the guys son into coming at him, catching the boss scooting his wheelchair out of the way.

Just get Profaci to do it.

Can we all just agree that Skoda was ten times better than Olivete?

No, it's because you're nowhere near as sexy as Angie Harmon.

"Haha! Screw you, jerks! We ARE vice!"

Wasn't it an SVU crossover where Munch finally got a copy of his FBI record and was disappointed that they didn't consider him a threat?

"Looks like she slept through her final."

I talking about within the context of the picture itself.

I like it when you find out at the end that it was the kid and not their parent that did it. "Susan, don't say another word! I did it. I'll take the deal now."

I love it when actors keep popping up in the show but not as a recurring character. "Hey! Wasn't that lawyer the murder before?"

730 exam!

"We came to see the Statue of Liberty. Now we're going home early."

My favorite is when they're questioning a hooker or dealer. "We're homicide, not vice."

My favorite L&O opening trope is the 'vacationing family'. It's almost always the dickhead son who finds the body.

The look on Lenny's face when they figure it out. Damn, I miss Orbach.

Sometimes it's fun to try and figure out which particular episode using the formula it is. It's one with racists. Are they the neo-Nazis racist, the police racists, or the preppy rich kid racists?

That's what I like about L&O. It doesn't bog you down with their personal lives. They give you glimpses and keep moving on. Lenny was a drunk and slightly crooked cop at one time. Green has gambling problems. Those things aren't the point of the episodes, they just give you something more, little by little.

Inevitable discovery!

The only ones I liked was when, for like a month, they would end every ad for the next episode with the black guy hairdresser saying "Whaaaat?"

"Dead body? Which dead body? I saw three on my drive to work this morning. Can we hurry this up? I've got to get these crates loaded and the vice detectives are due to question me at 3. Then I've got the burglary squad at 4:30."
