A) Winterfell is hosting the Knights of the Vale; If they brought their own 'support staff', they may not know how bad winter can get
B) in GoT, seasons apparently last several years - so even a local blacksmiths apprentice may not have seen a winter before.

Definitely no Thor, if it follows the book (he shot himself in the head prior to the book commencing. On the show - who knows?).

Not whilst Steven Universe remains on air…

Game of Thrones: Special Victims Unit. So, basically… everyone?

Colin Firth has made a career out of playing 'Mr Darcy' from "Pride and Prejudice". And usually in films not even called "Pride and Prejudice"…

*hand-clap* Not that anyone believed them, of course, but this post was very well written Mr Hughes. Well done!

TL:DR "Let's go back in time and HUG Hitler!"

I've not seen the 2nd part of the opener yet:but I think narritively the review misses a more intriguing option. The 'Magician's Apprentice' is Davros - rather than abandoning him to the trap (and Davros dying), or helping him (Davros lives, but is scarred and history continues as expected), the Doctor 'exterminates'

In your pants!

Meh. Robotech did this better, earlier by 6-7 years:

Soo… The Doctor travels so far off the grid that the nav computer can't tell where they are.. But when he runs out of 3W, he's back in …London? Did he land his Tardis inside the Master/Mistresses Tardis? How would Missy even *have* a Tardis?
Second point; dollars to donuts Danny gets converted to Cyberman without

Number one: well done on reviewing the show without mentioning the most obvious tonal comparison- "Californication". Two; this didn't need a remake. Roxborough is *fantastic* in the original, and it wouldn't kill anyone to just suck it up and get used to slightly different accents.
