A domestic sitcom: Cumming, Dear
A biopic of a voiceover announcer: Cumming This Summer
A "US Navy life" sitcom: Cumming, Seaman on Deck!

There was a Blazing Saddles spinoff pilot with Louis Gossett Jr playing Bart. Mel Brooks had nothing to do with it. It's painful to watch.

It's in Roadkill County.

And Sheriff Blubbs, back when he was just a trainee and hadn't yet met the love of his life.

Harper Lee. The original "To Kill A Mockingbird" manuscript is the fourth journal.

(Stan pushes Ford, Ford falls up into the rift.)

When any post starts with "Hey buddy," I automatically read the rest in Jim Gaffigan's inner voice.
"Hey buddy, I used to be a baby…"
"Hey buddy, I like IHOP. If you don't like it, you don't have to eat there…"

At the climax of the movie, they announce "And the winner is… Qatar!"
The dog jumps through the air, knocks over and starts licking the face of the commissioner. All the other characters of the movie stand up and applaud, except for the villain, a soccer-hating American, who throws down his cowboy hat in disgust.

As a member of the first group, let me put things in terms of a sports metaphor.

"Olson's chirpy brand of unhinged" I see what you did there. It's because Dee looks like a big ol' bird.

It didn't make sense for Worf to be getting his ass kicked by every being the Enterprise came into contact with, either. At the end of the day, the series successfully left viewers with the impression that Worf was a badass warrior.

"Was anyone else just a baby?"
The pivotal moment of the series— crossing into the new universe— couldn't have been more delightfully Hitchhikers-esque if the screen had flashed "Forty-Two" in large, friendly letters.

Ghost Busters!

Stewart is more of a George-Michael Bluth than a J.D.

Trevor Noah is funny and all, and I like him, but I don't think his "trust me, I'm not a stupid American" schtick can weather four days per week.
He's only done like 3 segments and already it's wearing thin.

They milked all the mileage out of Bevers that they could possibly get. He was really funny in season one, but by season two he's overstayed his welcome and there's no reason for him to keep sticking around.

Are you getting enough oxygen?

I kind of prefer that, actually. A show about a community college lasting longer than four seasons should have at least a few characters graduate and new ones come in.

If Community were a typical laugh-track sitcom (a la Chuck Lorre schlock), Chang would be a beloved breakthrough character, like Kramer or Urkel.
Knowing someone like Kramer or Urkel would be a terrifying, alienating experience in real life. That's the deconstructive lens Community views Chang through.

That makes CBS not Tiffany's, but the Hot Topic accessories display.
Not a four star restaurant, but McDonald's.
Not blue-chip, but penny stock.
