i think one of the big problems with No Man's Sky (and also its spiritual predecessor, Spore) is that it doesn't have a really have a strong take on what makes exploring the universe so exciting for people. the "pilgrims journey" it sends you on turns the vastness of space into this plodding chore, where planets

i'm a little hesitant to criticize no man's sky. i've played it about ten hours now, and i'm enjoying it reasonably, now that i've gotten into the groove of things. i think,

i would really like to see the same concept executed by a AAA team, with a AAA budget, though. i enjoy the game enough, but i'd like base building, a fleshed out trading system, and some form of meaningful reward for all my exploring/cataloging.

it would be nice if there were more barren planets, too. it took me about twelve attempts to find a properly lifeless world, and even then, there's a pretty constant supply of alien outposts and trading stations. emptiness would have made the life seem a little bit more rewarding.

i dunno. i think we've seen enough of these attacks in general to make some assumptions about who these people are and where they come from, and this case in particular has pretty strong ties to the alt-right.

yeah, but they had a tone deliberately evocative of the era

what really baffles me about this production is the godawful art direction they decided to go with.

apparently that happened because eastwood was following the script and pitt didn't realise, though

i hope they do end up making more uncharted games (i mean, they almost certainly will, but still).

i played through the uncharted collection and then uncharted four these last couple of weeks

i would love to learn to spell and also to learn about upper case and lower case. would you teach me?

yeah, you're probably right. but you'd think there should be some middle ground between beyonce and fucking lena dunham.

i mean, i disagree, but i won't really get into that argument (honestly, who cares?). there definitely was a backlash though, and she definitely is unpopular within a certain crowd.

i mean, american ferraria and eva longoria are basically in the same basket for me. they're "the girl from that show that ended like, seven years ago" and "latina woman who always gives speeches at the democratic convention" in my head at this point (and i didn't know who ferraria was until this article)

she's big on slut shaming, basically.

it does absolutely amaze me how consistently poorly the clinton campaign has selected their millienial outreach team.

isn't the better analogy "the guy who owns the building banning people from his property"? no one is getting shot here

i'm not sure about the destabilizing economies bit. the whole point of trek is that they're living in a post scarcity world, which means its much easier for everyone to get their shit together. i'm not sure there really are "valuable items and materials" in trek - except for very complicated technology (which includes
