Okey doke. And as I said, I really appreciate these excellent recaps.

It's a fine recap/commentary on the episode, as usual for AV Club — thanks! This passage jumped out at me, though: "she will take no shit from no man, or woman. And so if you are going to
expedite her exit from this story, it should be with a stirring
self-reflexive monologue." What's with the double negative? And

Thanks, but I believe that's not it. After a little poking around I discovered that my original post (3 days ago, now) was flagged "Detected as Spam." I found the notification by clicking on that little balloon by my name at the top of these comments. So…Spam? Me? I am now wondering if the length of my post

Grrr…I can't let it go. I am so baffled about why my posts are being yanked from A.V. Club. So let's see…is this paragraph objectionable? My previous post held right up until I edited this in. Let's see if this gets yanked again.

I guess I give up. I live in Memphis, I wrote a post from a local perspective, covered several subjects, and my post was removed. So I tried again, this time removing a semi, sorta, profanity, and it was removed again. So I tried again, this time adding a couple of paragraphs at a time to see what would trigger

I posted comments and now they're gone. They were here for awhile, but a "being reviewed' message became attached to it and now it has disappeared. I've been trying to figure out what happened, and my best guess is that I shouldn't have used a mild profanity (an adjective related to a dice game of chance). I'll try

It's a high-concept soaper, that's all it is, I know that, and yet I've
been enjoying it immensely. I like all the characters, I like the
mixed-chronology presentation, I like the way surprises have been sprung
on me — I like the show. OK, not enough to think of it as event viewing
— I usually let two or three

This guy Zach Handlen wrote all that and posted it within about 90 minutes after the final episode? I am so very impressed; I cannot begin properly to express my admiration. You nailed it, Zach. It was a fine show but sterile, and looking back, bloated. But I'm not bothered by the fact that I was strung along over

I'm going to disagree with you about one thing and agree about another.

Some of this is repetitious, but the more I've thought about it, the more I have to say.

I have some questions:

Just as in the movie, the characters conveniently forget that to communicate by ham radio, you have to KEY THE MIKE! Once, only once does she push the button on the mike stand, and then this little requirement of reality is ignored. I guess constant button-pushing would be problematic when you're trying to film a
