boo.

Or at least one of them. Whoever's got lead guitar: some of their finest work (can't remember if George and John switched up on this one or not).

Here's my new list for this one. And only because I thought about the question "Have I skipped this before, and how many times?" If the answer is yes, it made the list. The White Album is long, so it's got more entries…a speed through has me picking my favorites, you know?

This list is far more controversial and just plain, well, wrong, compared to yesterday's list.

yah i've got some other comments floating out there about it being semantics. for purposes, that part is correct. also i said somewhere else that 27 albums is accurate if the USA albums + Live at the BBC + the 3 Anthologies make the math.

Well, 27 if you add Live at the BBC and the three Anthologies.

Then again, perhaps it's all semantics?

You're right, Gangsta. They also said "Love Me Do" kicked off Beatlemania in 1964. Love Me Do was released as a single in 1962 and did not, in fact, catapult them to stardom, on either side of the pond. Subsequent singles did. Love Me Do only helped them go national in the UK instead of keeping them Liverpool-based.

That and Maxwell. It's a solid song, and as the Beatles obsessed person I am, I listen to the whole album, but Maxwell is too kitschy and is one of my least favorite songs on that album. I also don't feel you can separate "She" from the larger medley. The reason that medley is so brilliant is because all the pieces

Disagree on Oh Darling, but Tomorrow Never Knows is my favorite Beatles song too!!

where there are multiples…the first was my first instinct, but the others i absolutely don't skip ever either.

This is a good list. I'm not offended by it. Lots of love for the White Album, Revolver, and Abbey Road, which makes me happy. But here's my list (the letter "I" was hard):

this.

and blue jay way…my least favorite Beatles song

though i totally agree about All Things Must Pass.

while his contributions were no doubt minimized, his earlier compositions, from the moptop days, in no way compare to lennon/mccartney. arguably, he improved as dramatically and awesomely as he did because he got the songwriting shaft so many years.

you say that people…had enough of those silly love songs?

boo. they are all talented in their own way.

I think the number of dumb conservatives far outweighs the number of dumb liberals since the average person with at least a Bachelors Degree or higher is statistically more likely to be liberal. The name calling really helps you to prove your point though. Really reeks of intelligence. Get it? Reeks?

is persistence paying off there?
