This absolutely should have been an A! So much humor line for line, so many classic New Girl isms, and some character development to boot.

I thought the tone was a little uneven, but that's to be expected for a pilot. Overall quite funny, and the absurdity of men's field hockey being a gateway to cool in teenager world made me laugh the most. Didn't Andre jr. refer to it as "Fie Hock" at one point?
