How many trees grow on these islands? And is there only 50 people living there? That looked like a small crew to be rolling with to conquer the known world

yeah, good call. I thought I was on the page for the book readers, so that comment would have made more sense in that context. For the show they've aged everyone forward a few years, so her probably started out 14 and is now 16ish

He's supposed to be 12-13 years old. Kinda hard to outsmart seasoned adult schemers. Not to mention being the youngest of 3, his education never really consisted of being a king that early

Well the fact he had 2 kids (jojeen and mera) who are Bran's age would be clue #1. This flashback was roughly 20 years before current events. Jojeen and Mera are in their teens, so he survived, went home and had 2 kids

I wonder if they are really behind him? I get the Karstarks though - Robb killed their dad. That is hard to forget, sworn to someone or not

while I agree from a practicality standpoint, that would be too dishonorable an act for someone like Ned. He seemed shocked that his enemy was killed via stabbing in the back

    Nice analogy

Yeah, Stannis is dead. I assume Littlefinger will come back later this season once Sansa and Jon take over Winterfell. Imagine Sansa and Littlefinger getting married and uniting the North and the Vale. That would be a good alliance and one that matches historically (Ned Stark + Jon Arryn being previous allies).
    Would

How would Reek (Theon) and Sansa know that Ramsay killed his Dad? There were 2 people in the room. I'm sure they won't believe the "poison" story that is getting sent out via raven, but no proof otherwise, right?
Same with his mother in law - they can guess and throw out other theories, but no proof otherwise

Who is going to do anything about it? The 2 people who know he is responsible for those deaths won't. The maester will follow orders or get killed. The Karstark Lord doesn't mind - he'd rather stayed allied with this guy than end up flayed. So I'd imagine Walder Frey won't do a thing

I think it will be neat to see it play out on TV. You have some interesting characters who go on to do cool things. If they pull it off, the set up now should pay off later
