Interesting - thanks!
Interesting - thanks!
I mean we had hundreds of years of European rulers marrying various family members (see the Hapsburg dynasty). By modern standards it is gross and leads to health issues, but in this show's context, meh
Ok, so who comes back from the ice zombie kidnapping excursion?
I am willing to bet money on Jon and the Hound (Clegane bowl must happen!)
I think Jorah and the Brothers without Banners crew will bite the bullet though
Not sure about Gendry but I lean towards survival. Surely they didn't bring him back after 3 seasons to…
Interesting idea. Would unite the historical rulers with the upstarts
I mean people moved on and dealt with Jamie / Cersei. This wouldn't be any worse, would it?
I don't think the show is going the route of Gendry being that. But even if they did would someone from a blood line that ruled for generations really be outweighed by someone that overthrew a king 20 years ago?
No worries - now you know :) And yeah, it was a long time ago and a throwaway line if I am not mistaken
I think they changed things from the book some and I found the info from another show breakdown article.
Per this, you are incorrect: http://gameofthrones.wikia….

agreed. I don't need 2-3 episodes to pass for Jon to sail to DragonStone. It's season 7 - people get it is a big place and are moving by horse / foot / boat at this point
The Tyrells were (are) money men, not fighters, so the implication is the Lannisters easily beat them
Good theory
ah, good call - that is a very reasonable explanation.
Does anyone understand the logic of how the White Walkers are wandering around right now, beyond just being a nebulous threat for the past 6 years? They were pretty close to the wall at the start of the show (or at least some were) and then they went all the way East to Hardhome and then to North to the 3 Eyed Raven /…
Someone replied elsewhere and said once the new Pres was sworn in you can't undo that as it seals and confirms the vote. So I guess that was a one-off for that character
Interesting - thanks for the insight. I didn't know that couldn't / wouldn't have an impact
She is at least 40 or maybe 50 years younger than him, hence my age comment. I was arguing that if he publicly cedes decision making power to her, that weakens him. In hindsight not sure it mattered. The blast radius on that explosion was huge. Even if they left they all would've been swallowed up in a green flame
Jian Yang is hilarious. More of that next season!
Did the crazy old pollster guy muttering about finding the lost ballot box in Nevada mean nothing in the end? I was thinking if he was actually right, then the whole process was invalid and Selina actually did win? No?
Disagree. The High Sparrow knew something was wrong but wanted to save face in front of an important group of people. If he caved to a young girl like that, think of the damage that does to his image. And no one anticipated an explosion - they were probably expecting armed soldiers whom they could have fought off
