I guess she only controls other hosts when her survival depends on it now… like with Bernard tonight…
But still, it assumes the hosts have free will (apart from some improvisation outside of their narrative)… it would make more sense if Maeve first gave the host the ability for free will, then asked them.

I think all of those decommissioned hosts in storage are going to make up Maeve's army.

I feel the same way. I think this show is logically inconsistent and contradicts itself. Like, if Maeve can control other hosts, why did she run away scared from the hosts in last week's episode at the end? Or tonight's episode, she asked the host with the scarred face for help… why didn't she just command him.

Regarding the William=MiB theory: earlier in the season, didn't MiB grab Delores and take her to the shed and kill her? This would be a big arc for someone who is/used to be in love with Delores (as young William)…
