I agree - however it really did weaken ther series finale.

There is industry and media talk of "Justified" movies, ala "SATC." Damn!

After I saw discussion of "Justified" movies being made in the same vein as "SATC," I was afraid it would end this way with plenty of open items unresolved and the main characters alive. Bottom line is this is entertainment and the almighty future dollar rose.
