The accent doesn't bother me but the use of American slang words/colloquialisms (eg 'Kid') does. It was jarring to hear her say that in her accent.

Same. The more she fought to survive the more I liked her.

I absolutely HATE that they let Dar Adal drop that insider knowledge about Quinn and then they killed him off so we won't even get a proper backstory on him. Knew Carrie was going to pull the plug on him. She knew he wouldn't want to remain like that. And the way the writers dangled Quinn/Carrie in front of us without

I'm not saying she made the right choice or even the only choice. Only that you don't have to be some true believer to be working against the CIA. She was weak. When the situation spiralled out of her control she stopped being the loyal CIA analyst and acted in what she thought were her best interests.

I'm not sure that I agree with the reviewer in that Allison is supposed to be 'the big bad'. She never struck me as being this villainous person out to destroy CIA interests. And now her backstory shows why she never seemed that threatening, because she never really was. She was person who got caught up in situations

Holy crap that's true! I can't believe I forgot that Carrie didn't even go and look for Quinn if only to ascertain that he was dead.

I thought so too. But I guess he has blinders on. Smh.

I don't think During thinks Carrie's unstable. I got the impression that he was planning on releasing those documents and is going to lay the blame on Carrie i.e. her unstable mental health. He and Laura seem to be on the same page when it comes to the documents. Either that or he's playing some other game. Which

Yea but those were all past events so you always knw how its gonna end up. The Syrian war is now.

I'm confused as to why Allison would even want Carrie dead. Is it because she thinks she's still in the CIA and she's deep cover doing a mission for Saul?

I agree about the General's death not being surprising because, as you said, Assad and that whole crisis is playing out right now. So I too was confused as to why they would even include that in the plot this season. Although with the way Assad went to visit Putin in Russia in real life and now Russians are featuring

I thought she replied in German too.

and Friday Night Lights and Lone Survivor

Same here. I was confused to read all the comments about her having a C-section because it didn't even register with me as something negative. I just assumed she had a difficult birth/labour that made the procedure necessary.

That didn't even occur to me at all. I just assumed she had a difficult birth.

omg this exactly lol

After that shit rat monologue I was gonna call it quits on this show but then that wtf ending means I'll be tuning in next week to see what happens. ffs

I agree with this.

One thing I don't get is why they charged the kid. Can you be arrested for someone else using your car to commit a crime? I mean he rented his car to someone. If it was a rental company and one of their cars was used to say rob a bank, they wouldn't get charged with robbery.

El Oh El oh sci-fi, oh sorry syfy, I lament your loss every day :(
