I am a second wave feminist and I was *there,* stealth of course. Biological essentialism was NOT part of the second wave. Radical feminists (aka lesbians) were not even "allowed" in the women's movement because it would make it seem like a bunch of man haters.

As a big champion of dealing with childhood onset of GD, would it work if a gender variant child is allowed to express her gender of affirmation? That is, can the girl with the birth defect be raised as the girl she actually is? Will this satisfy the "gender police?" I know it would have satisfied me!
