I have a feeling I'm gonna be mighty tempted to do the same. I've heard good things about Jo Duffy's long run on the book.

I'm having a hard time mustering any excitement for Marvel comics right now, including my beloved X-Men. That said, I will likely check out a few of these once they pop up on Unlimited. I'm a sucker for Jean Grey stories so I'm hoping that one's good. I know, I know, few readers seem to really love Jean but I have

Good luck adopting a cat. I love our cat so damn much, she's brought a lot of joy to us.

I'm in a Facebook group with Liefeld (Back Issue Magazine) and he posts a lot and his enthusiasm for the comics he loves or grew up loving is absolutely infectious.

Hey gang, I'm finally watching The Image Revolution (it's free with Amazon Prime). Congrats to my colleagues at Sequart for producing this highly entertaining documentary. Biggest surprise? Rob Liefeld is pretty funny here!

Power Man and Iron Fist Epic Collection. I'm four issues in and it's an absolute blast. I've recently read all of those early Luke Cage and Iron Fist stories (probably amounts to close to 50 issues) and I'm lovin' the characters more than ever. These are really fun 1970s Marvel comics. Misty Knight and Colleen Wing

I love Nextwave. It's clever, witty, silly, fun, and very unique.

And I think hands down, best version of Elsa Bloodstone. This book made me a fan and I'm always on the lookout for her appearances since.

I've come around to kind of liking Deadpool in very small doses. I thought Remender did a great job with him in Uncanny X-Force but mostly I'm with you, I don't really get the crazy popularity he's achieved.

I've always had a tendency towards that too, like with CDs in the '90s. I think comics might be where it started for me as a kid, ugh.

This habit of ours, yeesh.

Nothing new in weeks, not able to get to the shop for a while now. Hopefully next week and I'll have two new issues of Wonder Woman and Deathstroke waiting for me, plus the latest Black Widow.

Yes. And don't remind me, it makes me sad.

Never paid a lick of attention to Nova. Raises an interesting question: what Marvel or DC characters do you completely ignore?

Our goals and lists are very similar. I really need to focus more on the classic series on Unlimited because I find they're a better reading experience - for one thing they're finite so you can just blow through 30 issue runs or whatever and know you're done with it. The new series coming out in dribs and drabs are

Let us know what you think once you've read it!

I've heard very good things about that one and plan to read it on Unlimited at some point. My to-read list is so out of control that I might not get to it for several years, though!

It's a blast, you'll love it!

The new Byrne She-Hulk collection (which I have already pre-ordered) collects the second and longer portion of Bryne's run on the book. He did the first 8 or 9 issues of the series, left (in a huff, IIRC and knowing Byrne), then came back around #31 and stayed on until the close of the book at issue 50.

I read online about what King is doing with Catwoman and it sounds like he really doesn't understand the character.
