If we had to be good at something to recognize when it's done well, there wouldn't be an AV Club.

I used to visit Radio Shack for small parts or cables. But it's been decades since their prices were even slightly reasonable. I grab all of that stuff at local hardware stores, hardware superstores, or Amazon these days. Much cheaper.
