if both debbie and carl were not going to school, dcf would be knocking on fiona's door. it is illegal to skip school aka truancy. if a child misses a 10-15 days of school, the school is mandated to report it. this show is a little too unrealistic sometimes.

my friend has herpes (the bad one - genitals) and she always lets her potential partners know because she feels morally obligated. I don't blame her. I would feel terrible sleeping with someone and passing them an embaressing disease they could have avoided.
