Chopper actually didn't "kill" that droid. Yes he pushed it out of the ship, but you see right after that the ship had been hovering close to the ground, and the Imperial droid landed in a field and got back up, so I assume it was ok.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree that Chopper is "an awful, terrible character." I adore Chopper, he's so cute and hilarious! I like how he's different from other droids with his grouchy and conceited personality. It makes his character unique, as does his design and his voice. I wasn't too thrilled…
