or how Mako provides shock value

no, they are all cylons brought together by angels
to help the human race survive…"all of this has happened before, and will happen again"

what was also good about that scene was how Mako was kinda slumped over a bit giving us full effect that he gave everything he had to the last bit to kill her off

or teleportation…

but if you watch the show closely, there are always full of red herrings in LOK…all …the…freekin'….time….

'nother thing, some of you guys need to stop saying Korra has been ineffective or has been saved by Team Avatar in many of her fights with the baddies. You have to realize that if the Avatar wasn't around, then
there is no way the rest of Team Avatar is able to defeat any of their
foes…you all keep acting like they

uh, you guys need to realize that if the Avatar wasn't around, then there is no way the rest of Team Avatar is able to defeat any of their foes…you all keep acting like they all are saving Korra's ass, as if she wasn't part of the equation, they would all have their asses handed to them in short order. You cannot pick

she gone

but the crazy thing about Makorra is that they keep on emphasizing their big hug momemts spread over the past ten or so episodes…they continually keep making this an awkward pause moment—-instead of doing it once, and letting it go…that says alot why they keep bringing these feels back again and again

its not that, in the end it makes Korra into a lovesick lovebot essentially…looking for love in every place…and in the case of Bolin, also being a tease as well on many levels…after awhile, this gets realllllly messy

this dude is dead on correct…in today's fandom, everyone imposes what they want onto their fave show or comic, etc. outside the character development/arc of particular characters to fit their sensibilities or whatever is popular in culture to some…even going so far to imply what hasn't been implied by show creators….

what you, along with many, fail to understand is that it IS possible for Mako and Bolin to keep up with the likes of Ming Hua and Ghazan…they have been pro-bending for awile, performing/perfecting the techniques necessary to fight, and fight well. They are far from beginners, especially at this stage in the Korra

Meethinks Earth-lavabenders have to at least have a parent who was of the fire nation to have that ability…since it borders having the ability to turn earth to fire/or molten states

There is a part of me where it seems that the "Legend" that will be made of Korra is that from this point forward, she will be disabled. One of the first disabled Avatar… and in that, she will be looked at or made into a literally sitting Queen of sorts, over her own nation equipped with armies to protect and serve

that was freekity how she looked like Aang…she better grow her hair out…don't want to see a Jinora that looks exactly like Aang…that would be cheap in many ways for me

this isn't dumb…you just fail to realize that killing/dying has been in our action-oriented animated shows for a minute…you just have a short memory. When I was a kid there was death depicted in the Transformer Movie, Star Wars, Starblazers,…its only stuff shown on Disney and Nickelodeon that hasn't show such fare.

Ironically, I think the spirit world in LOK is less developed because the writers know that most of us watched ATLA and understand how the spirit world deal works in the avatarverse

You know what, if I didn't know any better, Korra is playing out like its Battlestar Galactica…think about it. It's like a higher power or powers all playing everyone on a chess board to one specific outcome or result…

But we also know this is not a regular kids cartoon…remember, we did see a suicide at the end of last season….so, that comparison is not exact

Maybe, and maybe not…do we now have relations with Japan now? Maybe time has changed things since Aang was born…
