To be fair Von Trier beat them both by casting her in Nymphomaniac in a pseudo-incestuous plotline that admittedly was one of the film's weaker elements.
I am going to go with Southpaw. Some of Morrissey's more emotionally effecting lyrics coupled with a really solid prog instrumental. If not that National Front Disco.

Alps is a great melancholic work. I think you have to go into it realizing outside of acting style, and directing technique it really isn't going to be similar to Dogtooth in any other way though.
