"the 'lost' David O. Russell movie…good…strong…international cinema."

And they all lived happily ever after.

The Pearts of Penzance

My Fair Geddy

Hey, you try singing those high notes when you're 60!
The musicianship is still tops. All us Rush fans have learned to accept the creaky vocals over the last ten years or so. What else could they do? Get someone else to sing it? No way!! We'll take Grandpa Geddy's turkey calls if it means we get to hear Bangkok.
Nah!

I love the one where our Adolf plans a dance party in Wolf's Lair for the same weekend that Herman Goering plans a dance party in Berlin.
Adolf asks Eva if she will go to the ball with him. "Which one?" asks Eva.
"Vot do you mean?" says Adolf "I only have one!"

It was cute but the director shouldn't have shown it twice, with the second shot more up close than the first.
"Get it? Get it? 'Ranger Reich'? Get it?"

Golly! I got this ten thousand dollars in my pocket. Guess I'll buy tickets fer the whole tour! Who's sellin'?

Confused about the light saber:
The blue light saber was originally Vader's, given to Luke by Ben Kenobi. The one Luke built was green. Where did they find the blue one? As I recall it would have been at the bottom of the large central shaft of Cloud City with Luke's hand still holding it.

This is such a strange series. I can't decide whether I like it or not. The plot has great potential, but the episodes kind of meander around, unsure of what to do with it.

How does Jeff Lynne always wind up in the middle of any supergroup/meeting of the rock gods? I know ELO was a great group, but c'mon…
I suspect Jeff is the guy with the weed connection.

Obligatory: This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.
RIP Fred

"Give me some money"
"Okay."
"Okay."
"A little more…"
"Um…okay."
"There! Feel better?"
"No."
"You didn't do it right. Try again. Give me some money."

Better than I thought it would be. I'm a fan of found-footage movies, and this new wrinkle is fun and was well done here.

I prefer his earlier work.

That joke made me say "Apat-OW!!"

"Isn’t it curtains already for this tired trend?
I still like the "found footage" genre. It's a great way for a small-budget filmmaker to make a movie.

Thanks for nothing, Canada!
Jerks.

I'll bet the Coens could do a really good Mockingbird remake.
