Because Trump is good for clicks, whether for or against. He's good for Bee, and good for the AV Club regurgitating Bee. It is Trump we (apparently) want, and so it is Trump we shall have.

I think it depends what the original concept was and how it was marketed. If it was "women musician festival" then ignoring acts that weren't McLachlan's style seems like a fair point to criticize. If it was always supposed to be focused on her singer-songwriter style, then complaining that it didn't include punk

Like Frank Stallone's tears in the rain.

i hope they at least used Metallica's Planetarium for the opening credits. PLAAANETARIUUUUUUUUUM!!!!

Of course they are, the fuckers.

There's always money in the banana stand (touched nose/winks).

Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear?

I don't like the sound of "more influence over who’s allowed to keep commenting."

I thought Iron Fist was fine, about on the level of Luke Cage without the great soundtrack. Rand was kind of a twerp, but the show threw that in his face pretty often.

The string of tweets from random people adds nothing and just looks lazy.

Further down she also makes some claims about declines in support for gun control that don't seem supported by the second chart, so figured maybe it wasn't referring specifically to her post here.

From your link, the question about overall opinion on the NRA from the most recent survey (2015) has 58% responding as very favorable or mostly favorable. That seems to support Kate's claim, unless you're arguing that "mostly favorable" doesn't mean "approval." Is there a different question that you're looking at?

No. At least not if it's the scene I think you mean. Shepard played Pitt's old boss and is in a flashback scene with Pitt and Liotta. The guy in the end scene is one of the Coen Brothers regulars.

PWR BTTM?

Good points. They don't seem like a crew that's into thinking about the long term, though.

He made himself news and put the Russia investigation on the media back burner for a bit. This all could easily be incompetence, but it also could intentional distraction. Probably a bit of both.

Every press release will end with the sign off:

I think this is a misreading of the "full transparency" language. I think he started deleting tweets, some people noticed and started commenting about it, and the "full tranparacy" refers to his acknowledging that he is deleting tweets. Not that he is deleting tweets in the name of transparency.

An analysis of Trump from a pop culture angle?! Crazy idea! If only we could find a pop culture website with some pop culture writers who seemingly like to write about Trump…. Nah, that'll never work. Better to just summarize someone else's work.

I'm skeptical that the alt-right has any kind of political force. Their big accomplishment last election was to get Clinton to hold a press conference on a cartoon frog. They don't have the numbers to have an electoral impact and their antics may have cost Trump votes. Their influence seems to have been blown way
