Not sure what show you have been watching, but the creators have definitely not made the lives of these characters "fun." And the stories with Harrow, Jimmy, Chalky, and Narcisse have plenty of depth. I do think it suffers from trying to make Nucky the central character and would have been better off as an ensemble…
