Eh, I think it's encouragement not to use the word at all. & besides, it's not like there are any OTHER offensive terms for female genitalia, right?

I think what suprised me was the automatic moderation. Seeing how negative some of the commenters can be, I thought the AVC was more of an "offend first, scrub the dirt away later" sort of establishment. So I thought some actual person would read my comment and look at the context instead of some automatic flagging…

We commenters only have ourselves to blame. If we didn't wield that word with such venom Disqus wouldn't feel the need to do that.

I've definitely asked but usually the people who have access to it are already stealing it from their parents. Most people my age can't afford cable at all and opt for Netflix, which makes total sense.

The only telenovela I've seen in years is Metástasis. I wouldn't mind checking out those programs, are they easy to find? Then again, are they worth checking out? There's so many bad novelas, after all.

I'm so embarrassed, I don't know that I've ever had a comment "moderated" and deleted before. At least I think it's been deleted… I had no idea that the AVC was flagging comments so aggressively. I just used the c-word to describe this terrible fictional character in a drama but I guess that was too much. Honestly…

Ohhh. I don't know what it is about her. Yasmin Paige just made me feel things on this show. A lot of it had to do with her look, it's the first time I've seen her with really curly hair and it looks great on her. I feel goofy admitting all of this, haha.

I LOVE SELENA. I highly recommend her music. It's very pop-y but my god, her fam wrote some really good jams. SERIOUSLY, get on that shit.
